So...who's going??

Me and Mr Freak are planning to go but don't have tickets yet, but we are working on it. Its snowing and icy tonight in Rochester and worse in the cities. Hope it's better by Saturday.

Hahahaha.
It was close to 70 here today, in greater Charlotte. Had to hurry home from the market with our vanilla ice cream (apple pie accompaniment tomorrow), so it wouldn't get all melty.
Why do you people live in the north??

I love snow. Ice...not so much. I'm eating some vanilla ice cream right now. I bet the bugs are a lot bigger where you are. Besides, I get really *itchy when I'm hot. Just ask Mr Freak.:D

Errr...bugs?....no, you 'win' again. Minny has the world's biggest, meanest mosquitoes. I dare ya to try to prove me wrong.
I think it's because of those 10,001 lakes? Breeding grounds everywhere.
But down here? Not so much; tends to be dry-ish. Plus, we have excellent bats that keep our airspace safe and clean.
And screened porches.
 ;) :)

Cuz I get to see 85% of Iowa FB games.

Live, that is.

Natche, if you lived down here near Bluzmn and I, you could enjoy that beautiful Titanium GoldWing 24/7/365. :)
And watching our Hawkeyes on that 72" screen is actually better than paying to see them 'live'. :D
To quote Thunder, me FTW. :p

I don't think the skeeters are any bigger than Iowa's actually but I've never been to the Boundry Waters where I hear they are large. They do tend to swarm a person though. That's why there's deet!

Darlin', when I say 'down here', I'm talking NASCAR country. Me and my Better Half live in North Carolina...Lake Norman, to be precise.
Mind you, I grew up (debatable!) in the Upper Midwest, and have spent meaningful time in Minnesota, so I know from skeeters. I got scars to prove this.
So when I suggest that y'all have bigger, meaner, and more skeeters in Minny than we do down here in The Piedmont, I ain't just whistlin' Dixie.
:)

Sugar, when you said 'down here' I knew you weren't talkin' 'bout your privates! When I say 'up here', I'm talking about SPAM country, don't cha know. Me and my other half (I'm the better half...like your wife) live in Rochester, MN, ...near Silver Lake to be precise. The Med City.

I grew up in the Iowa, but have lived in California, Kansas, Texas, Indiana, and W. Germany. The last 10 in Rochester. I haven't been bit by a skeeter in 3 years. (if you remember the coffee thread, I'm guessing that's why) Didn't your mamma ever tell you not to scratch the skeeter bites? That's how you get scars! And I'm not whistlin' Yankee Doodle Dandy. :D

Happy Turkey Day..

And I got my tickets...section 108, row 35. See ya there.

Freak,

roads are already 100% dry now, you wont have any issues.
