Most disappointing games of KF Era

Today is especially hurtful because I believed we still had a really good shot of going to a BCS game. Watching this game made me feel like I wanted it more than the players and staff. I didnt see any sense of urgency at all today and that is really sad to see. Stanzi looked like a robot this whole season and I really cant argue with his stats. However seeing that kid the last 2 years making plays in clutch situations, all that is gone now. Even on the last drive today, he didn't take any shots downfield, even dumping the ball off on a 3rd and 17 which if caught by 32 ends the ball game. This was a team lose. The offense put us in this situation by only putting 3 pts on the board in the 1st half. Then not putting any scoring or time consuming drives in the 4th when we could have put the game out of reach. The defense had oppertunities to step up and end rallies but bent and broke, TWICE IN A ROW. I predicted 9-3 at the start of the year and that is still possible. However the way we looked in losing this season, I would have to say I, like a lot of you, are very disappointed.

today's hurt because it's fresh, but you saw the potential for it to happen last week against indiana.

I still think the most painful loss in the KF era was the ISU game of '02 because of what it cost Iowa down the road. Anybody who doesn't think the voters would've given Iowa the #2 votes over OSU after the way OSU won all those close games is on something. 11-0 Iowa team that has an exciting offense (wow, how times have changed) vs. an 11-0 OSU team that lucks out all the time...........no question about who is the #2 team in both polls and hopefully the BCS at the end of the year.

And four times this season! Just astounding. I treat last week as a loss... this game is two losses in a row IMHO

This loss might not even make my top 10, it's to be expected we will have a battle against NW and probably lose. The 2005 NW game still ranks as my most devastating loss. That was the loss that started this crap against NW.
