Losers from yesterday

The atmosphere during the game yesterday was among the best I have experienced in my years of holding season tickets. The crowd was electric and loud, and the game itself was thrilling. I was very disappointed with the loss, but knew that we had lost to a very good team because of a few mistakes. These are college kids.

The only losers I see after it is all done with is the fans that seem to think that the end of the world is at hand... suddenly the Hawks' defense is terrible, the coaching stinks, we would have won by a mile if only we had an offensive coordinator that would call that perfect play in every situation against a strong defense... on and on.

Wisconson won. That's no disgrace. We probably should have won. Well, people, Iowa has won quite a few games over the years that they should/could have lost. Get over it.

I agree on the crowd

I've been a season ticket holder since 2002, and there were times in the 4th quarter where I've never heard Kinnick as loud as it was.

Its a shame we had to lose, but hopefully the fans can bring that same energy next weekend. The team will need it.

Good perspective. This is often controlled chaos, and mistakes will be made. It is upsetting, but that is part of the deal when you are die-hard Hawkeye fans. Everyone involved with Hawkeye football, including fans, need to take some deep breaths, dust themselves off, and get ready for next week vs MSU. I understand the disapointment, but life is not fair, and you roll with it. Go Hawks!
