Doesn't have a lot of class in some of his quotes about Brewster. I keep comparing what I am reading to how Barta acted when he canned Lickliter and Maturi is really throwing Brewster under the bus.

I think how you fire people is very important to people who may be hired. I know if I were a coach and hearing stuff like, "you're not following Vince Lombardi here" would kinda put my red flags up.
 


I think as a coach when you consistently can't win, and continually look as though you have absolutely no idea what you are doing, then you seriously can't expect to keep your job. He should have been sent packing a long time ago so the only thing that should shock anybody is that they waited this long to do it.

There was absolutely nothing classy at all about Timmy Brewster. The fact is in any other profession if you continually fail at what your expected to do you get canned plain and simple. Both Brewster and Lickleiter definitely had it comming. It's about wins and losses at the college level and every coach in the business knows that.
 


Joel Maturi is without a doubt the world's worst AD, he should have been the first one fired, then followed by Brewster.
 


Let's hope they find some one to keep the program at the level Brewster did and no wake it up and actually be competetive.
