Best Conference In the Country

I am just waiting to hear how bad the Big 10 is after OSU losing today. Also, we will hear about how great the SEC is given the back-and-forth and the great battles they have had this year.

That being said, we will hear about the greatness of the SEC and Boise State. Obviously, the BSU thing is ridiculous to everybody except for the "experts" given them proving themselves against solid competition this year after beating VT.

The SEC will still get props as a great conference because they play each other. The same can be said for the Big 10, but it won't.

I'm not going to say the Big 10 is the best in the country but to claim any other conference is better is just crazy. My point is that the Big 10 is just as good as any other conference in the country.

That being said, we can expect the pollsters to not recognize this and the polls will reflect this. Not pointing out anything new, just pointing out how ridiculous the "experts" respect the SEC and not the Big 10.

On a side note the Big 12 will continue to be critisized about its lack of defense. Yet Auburn and Arkansas will be praised for their offensive outputs totally ignoring the fact that any Big 12 team, and Michigan for that matter, play better defense then either team exhibited today. But I guess because everything is that much faster in the south it happens so quickly it goes unnoticed.

Exactly. It just is what it is.

Talking with friends we talk about the what-ifs with Iowa much like anybody and if Iowa were to win out, there is no way Iowa would be in the national championship game. Much like all of us, it's all about getting to the Rose Bowl. If we can get there, boss.

If we win out, we all know how much the media does not like to rank our boys in a favorable way.
