2010 SEC

Does anyone else think this conference is beginning to resemble Nick Saban and the 11 Dwarfs. If LSU is the second best team in this conference, they are in big trouble. LSU has the most one dimensional offense i've seen, and you take that away and they are screwed. They couldn't score against Tennessee at home. Are you kidding me?

Honestly, the jury is still out on Auburn, but the rest don't look too frightening to me. At least the Big Ten has MSU, Michigan, Iowa, OSU, and Wisconsin that can physically abuse you. The way Florida played Alabama, that puts them on par with Penn State. We just saw how good Penn State is.

Oh wait, I forgot about all the speed. Nevermind.

Who said that LSU is the 2nd best team in the conference? No chance, at least not this year. Arkansas, South Carolina, Auburn, and Florida are all better than the Bayou Bengals.

Trying to make fun of the SEC is like trying to make fun of the ACC in basketball. It gets old seeing it. The SEC has won 4 BCS championships in a row I believe. They are 6 - 0 in BCS title games. They are a faster conference. Speed doesn't always equate to victories though. But just watching college football it doesn't take a genius to see that there's more speed on the football field in the SEC than there is on the football field in the Big 10. The SEC has twice as many BCS titles as the Big 10 has appearences....

The SEC has 4 different teams who've won BCS titles. The Big 10 has 1 team.

Nick Saban is the best coach in college football coaching in the best conference in college football. Put LSU, Auburn, Florida or South Carolina in the Big 10 and I bet one of these teams and not a Big 10 team would win the Big 10 this year.

I get the Alabama thing and I'm not contesting they are a favorite (and rightly so) to win the NC, but I'm not sure what you are smoking on the four teams you just put out there. Have you watched Florida or LSU? Iowa beats the crap out of those teams. South Carolina, really? They barely beat Georgia who is getting beat by everyone, including a lousy Colorado team.

I said the 2010 SEC, I'm not questioning the pedigree of the conference, but this year is in no way on par with the previous 4-5 years. No way in hell and there is no way any of those four teams would win the Big Ten this year. We have to wait for Bowl Season, but I state again, none of those four teams scare me as much as OSU.

Yeah, I wish Iowa could beat South Carolina and LSU... oh wait.

P.S. Florida is garbage this year... If you haven't noticed.

The Big Ten might be the best conference in football this year top to bottom, but nobody would ever admit it. There is such a love affair with the SEC, its sickening. Alabama is outstanding. Florida & LSU are shams, and it will be shown as the season wears on. Arkansas and Auburn are very good, but also have very favorable schedules. S Carolina is sneaky good, but not great. The rest of the league is completely mediocre to poor. Iowa, OSU, Michigan, MSU, Wisc, PSU, Northwestern are all very solid teams. Even bottom dwellers Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and Purdue are not terrible, they could hang with the bottom teams in the SEC for sure.

Alabama is so much better than every other team in the SEC it's not even funny.

Fixed that for you.

I've seen nothing to convince me that Alabama is any better than the top teams in other BCS conferences.

Arkansas hasn't beat anybody, LSU needed stupidity to win, Florida has been overrated all season long. South Carolina and Auburn have more to prove, IMO, to convince that they belong where they're at.

Unfortunately, right now I would have to rate the conference's.
