Fairfield game

That was a good game for the Hawks to play.

D won that game. I was impressed with how well they defended a good 3-point shooting team, which set a school record for made 3sin a game, on the road in a tough environment.

Ava Heiden is really coming on, leads B1G in double doubles so far this year, 5

Taylor Stremlow = Junkyard Dog

It's fun watching these young players grow their games.

Just watched the first half of the game

Journey Huston is looking really good, she and Ada in the game together
will be hard to stop

Coming out game for Addie Deal, she is the goods, plays D, handles the ball well and
can be relied to bring the ball down court and I believe she will be a problem for the
opponents to stop from scoring

Kylie is solid on D and plays a good floor game

Ranked number 11 and I do believe that the ranking is deserved

Gonna be fun the watch during the bitter Winter

It's All Good

I kept looking at the box score and wondering why it was so close, Fairfield was sure launching the 3s. Who played PG while Stemlow took breathers.

It was an interesting game because yeah Iowa held them to 72 pts but yet gave up 18 three pointers to them on 46% which is not good at all. But they shot 40% overall from the field which is really pretty good for us and we kept them off the FT line. We destroyed them on the glass 32 to 18 I'd say that was the major difference. This game was won in the 2nd and 3rd qs. The 1st and 4th we didn't do so hot at the defensive end anyway.

Offensively I thought we missed a bunch of layups and had 16 TOs and looked sloppy. Yet 86 pts on the board with 30 in the 4th q is really good. We shot 51% fg 48% from 3 having hit 10 of em. FTs are a problem still only 69% from there. So it's wild that in a game where they put up 86 pts and shot so well they left a lot on the table it seemed like. And this was without Chit-Chat and Emely.

We played the starters heavy mins this game. Despite foul trouble across the board. Only Houston and Deal played much off the bench Hays played 6 mins. That opponent/style wasn't a good fit for Hays style at all. Going forward it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

Overall it's a good win against a sneaky good opponent. A team that shoots like that is going to knock off someone they 'shouldn't' Glad it wasn't us

Taylor McCabe and Addie Deal covered the point guard duties

Addie should be getting much more playing tim4

Kylie Feuerbach also helped out when necessary

Giving up 18 threes really stands out, gotta work on that big time

We shot 48% for threes with Kylee and Taylor McCabe shooting 8-15

We outrebounded them 44-28

Was a tough game but we prevailed, good tune-up for The Big
