I suspect he and Peyton may redshirt

Nothing about redshirt:

The four-star freshman did not play in the opener, which McCollum chalked up to a coach’s decision. But the Iowa head coach also handed out quite the praise to the 17-year-old who reclassified to start college early.

“Trey’s good,” McCollum said. “I would be surprised if he’s not an All-Big Ten player by the time it’s all said and done. Trey’s really good. Anytime you come in, it’s just hard to catch up to the defense. And he’s getting there. He’s good offensively, he’s fantastic. Energy’s through the roof. Trey’s good. I’m not worried about him. You just kind of have to see it progress and it takes some time.”

Thanks for the info! It will be interesting to see how the next few games progress, if he still hasn't seen the court by game 4 then I suspect it is something on the table.
