Final Exhibition Game Vs #10 Texas Tech

Not even a whisper on the Net/YouTube or anywhere

Drake played Texas Tech in the second round of The Dance last season

It was a close game into the second half but then the hammer struck

37-30 First Half

40-34 Second half

Final Score: 77-64 Texas Tech

There was a discussion on it on the On3 pay page that I don't subscribe too, I've heard virtually nothing.
That’s all I was able to find as well. Even digging around through the Tech pages I have found nothing. Not even hearing who may have won is surprising even in secret scrimmage. It wasn’t super secret right before the exhibition as it was being posted about.

I saw on TT 24/7 page TT beat Iowa 94-73.

You gonna go to Lincoln in March? Only 3 hour drive for us, gf and I are thinking about it.
Oh for certain. Last year was the first year I skipped Lincoln, and they fing won lol. I was pissed I didn't go, but I've been down there so many times and seen way better Iowa teams lose.

I try and always make it to that one, only about 50 minutes for me.

Relax everyone. Pre-season scrimmages are not the regular season. I remember Peyton Manning and the Colts losing about every game in the pre-season and then losing only a couple in the regular season.

Hard to know who played in the second half. Could have been bench vs bench in second half.

Week from tomorrow vs Robert morris?

It’s not the losing. For me it’s the points. We will need to score more to stay in the hunt of the conference or tourney.

Average points per game is absolutely something to expect to be different this year. But Ben’s teams have been much more consistent in defense than anything fans ever saw with Fran.

Scoring in upper 80s isn’t the only path to tournament. While I don’t want slow ball either I’m okay with pace dropping some if it means not being next to worst in big ten at defending 3pt arc

We’re gonna go to that one and Minnesota. It’s also closer than IC for us and I’ve always wanted to go check out Williams Arena with the raised floor and never have. GF’s sister lives up there so free lodging.

I believe they were shorter halves also.
We gave up 94 points in a game that had shorter halves??? Yikes. I know, I know, it was an exhibition game and it's possible the Ben was just trying out different player combinations, different defenses, different offenses, just to see what he has to work with.

On the other hand we all know that most of his players came from a lower rated division. Of course we are all hoping that they will adjust, step up, and match up better with more experience. It is only natural that athletes start to become more like the competition they face and play with over time.
