I say you can't blame Beth Goetz for being creative in bringing in $$$ to the athletic program in this day and age of money talked and BS walks.

We've got a long ways to go to catch up to OSU, Oregon and the like.

Literally no one in the galaxy is going to buy a JD tractor over a New Holland or International because they saw a logo on a football field.

Quite literally no one.

Put JD signage wherever you want around the stadium—don’t take Duke Slater off the field, man. Some things are bigger than money.

I say we take Boise State a step farther and make every 10 yard section alternating Black and Old Gold. Or if you really wanna induce motion sickness make it every 5 yards.

Other schools are doing it, the NCAA eliminated the rule preventing it last year.

I did the stadium tour before the Indiana game and asked the tour guide why the Duke Slater Field language had been moved to the back edge of the end zone, and was told it was so that an ad could be placed there. The fact that both JD logos face the home sideline tells me the intended audience is TV, not the fans in the stadium. I get the financial impact, but I don’t like it. One more sign of the apocalypse I guess. The tour was awesome by the way.
