Sorry but I quit reading after "finishing in front of big name schools like Michigan, USC, and Nebraska". The moment he included Nebraska in that breath proved that he's going simply based on brand recognition and had nothing to do with talent level of "those big name schools". I'm sorry but when was the last time Nebby was relevant? Hell could make the same argument about USC but I still actually respect them, so won't, but seriously WTF.

Ok I lied, I finished reading, but confused. Steele's basing that prediction off the recent struggles of our offense, yet when we were absolutely atrocious we weren't that far down the ladder. If our defense doesn't take too big of step back and our offense (specifically the passing game) shows signs of life and improves even slightly I think he could be eating those words.
