Love it. Steele is no lightweight in this area and has been doing it for a long time. He doesn't typically show favorites and calls balls and strikes.
I thought his analysis on the defense was a little shallow. I mean, I get the mantra that in Phil Parker we trust, but last year was not a great showing, especially for the secondary, and there are even more question marks this season.
I land that the offense will be materially better than last year. If the D and Specials can just hold serve from last season we should be a bit better. The schedule is tougher, but we lost a couple head scrathers that a KF Iowa team does not usually lose (like the ISU game). So, perhaps we are due for the ball to bounce our way this season.
