I do not see how a Boise St wins helps Iowa. It basically would guarantee them a spot in a BCS game, thus eliminating a major BCS team from filling that spot if they lost.

I don't see how it guarantees them anything. They still won't get in if another BCS team is undefeated as well. No matter what happens their schedule just won't be as impressive.

Edit: Bah, I read it wrong. I read it as title game. Yeah, a win here probably puts them in the BCS unless Oregon State beats them.
