Johnson again not on it. Don't know if anyone has the inside on him but it just seems like he may not play this year? We could really use him as everyone knows our WR position doesnt have a lot of talent or depth
Jacobs is out for the year. Going to have surgery. Just too bad cause the kid has a lot of ability
Roberts may be out. Maybe hurts the Special teams as much as secondary

Dejean at the corner, Castro at the Cash will work, they will be okay. This defense has a ridiculous amount of depth, wish the offense was this way.

The Keagan Johnson situation is starting to get weird. KF is suppose to address this in his weekly presser...I haven't checked, so I have no clue on what he said.

KF said today that Keagan won't play this week. It's his hamstring. There are so many degrees of severity with that injury and we don't know how bad it is. But they certainly can linger. Probably the worst thing that he did was try to come back in the Nevada game. He hasn't played since. He is our best receiver, IMO and would add a lot to that position group.

A guy I used to cycle with a lot pulled a hamstring the week after ragbrai 2014 leaning over a pool table for a long shot of all things, and he still fights it to this day. And he’s a PT for a living. He’s been to specialists in I don’t know how many cities and tried everything you could think of and some things you couldn’t. Had scans done and there were no tears, just a bad strain. He even got so fed up that a couple years ago he went a full six months of no riding or running and it still flared up on him once he started back.

Hamstrings are a fickle thing and at a certain point it becomes just as debilitating mentally as it does physically.

This^^^

Call it off while he can still get a medical redshirt.
Exactly... It's in everyones best interest. He can take his time getting right without the pressure of everyone asking is he gonna play or not week to week. Plus maintaining the yr of eligibility. Hit the ground running next yr

Given the fluidity of the transfer rule, our history of not having a great WR room which nudges good WRs away from Iowa, I say squeeze what you can out of him this year and worry about the future in the future. Why go out of our way so he has an extra year at Purdue. :)
