This is something I thought about even before the start of last season.
Anyway given the fact that we are employing a decent amount of the 4-2-5 wouldn’t it make sense to work Niemann inside where he would be a full time player? He’s got a ton of experience and as far as I can tell has enough size to handle the position. If I’m Niemann I’d definitely be for this move to get more play time.
This would allow a guy like Jestin Jacobs if he’s ready to get his feet wet at the Leo while rotating with whoever plays cash in the 4-2-5.
Campbell and Doyle could probably use an additional year of development and would be in line to take over the spot the following year.
This is a possible position change that I think makes a ton of sense.
