Is the Big 10 the best defensive league

Watching some other games today it really seams like defensive schemes and tackling are overall the best in the Big 10. It really boils down to Big 10 and SEC. PAC12 and Big 12 defense is optional, ACC is so skewed because really it is a one team league right now.

Is the drop in numbers and contact rules changing how defense is coached at the high school level?

If you look at Iowa’s cornerbacks for instance how many times do they miss a tackle or are insanely out of position? I would argue that comparatively to the rest of the country it is much less than other teams that have the reputation as being heavily talented (cough Oklahoma cough)

It's simple hilarious seeing scores from other conferences where a team gives up 40 plus pts and it's a "great win". Sorry if you give up 40 plus pts you should be ashamed. Take Big Ten pledges Maryland and Rutgers out and Big 10 defense is really amazing.
