Why no PA announcement for Carson King at the game?

I was at the game and saw people post pictures and videos with Carson King, but why was there no PA announcement, recognizing him?
He could've donated that extra money to an Iowa State-related cause, but chose to donate to the opposing school's Children's Hospital.
