NW again this year. Capt. Kirk gets out coached year in and year out in this game and doesn't seem to change anything. The only question is by how much?

That's a game most years I think Iowa should win, and when the Hawks lose, I leave wondering how the heck did that just happen? I think Fitzgerald just uses Ferentz's standard game plan against him.

He does. The guy is the best coach in the conference and I don't even think it's close. Iowa has had some nice games against NU, though, and with the QB turnover, this year should be an Iowa cakewalk.

They might, but they still have Isaiah Bowser. And he ran roughshod over our defense last year.

Agreed. I would like to think that this will be extremely motivating for the defense this year. The real difference in the game last year was NW's ability to run, and Iowa's inability to run. That and our fumbles

We will get revenge against NW, Wiscy, Purdue, AND Penn St. this year. The only games that concern me is at Michigan and Nebraska.

I'm always more concerned with Wisconsin than most anyone, including Nebraska. Otherwise, I agree. I hope you're right, though.

NW and Wis are breaking in new qb’s and Wiscy lost 4/5’s of that OL. Purdue will be tough but I don’t think they can make it 3 in a row. Penn St. don’t have Barkley and McSorley anymore and have had a lot of transfers including backup QB Stevens. Something going on there.

Michigan at Michigan is the only loss that I see as inevitable. But I said that about Ohio State two years ago.

Michigan has been overrated for so long. And Iowa has had pretty good luck against them, but I think Harbaugh turning over the offense to his coordinator, and with a solid defense Mich. may finally be the real deal.
