I'm a bit surprised about the 1 game suspension for Binns as well. I thought it would be 2 and we'd see him back for the AZ game.
I guess this means that Bernstine will not receive any suspension for whatever his part in the Hampton thing was. Were the charges against him dismissed?

I think Bernstine was arrested for Interference with an Official Act type of thing, because he is of legal drinking age.
Bernstein was charged with Public Intox and plead not guilty. Hampton plead guilty to the same charge.

Binns deserved 2 games minimum.
I am going ot go out on a limb and trust the judgement of our head coach who knows all of the facts of the situation and BB very well. Kirk has given us no reason to question his punishments over the years.

21 now...he was 2 weeks short of 21 when he was cited.

being that he was underage ...even by 2 weeks... he should have got 2 games maximum. He wasn't obliviated and barely over the limit but he was under age. that is a tough one.

If Bernstine plead not guilty, why would he get suspended? You don't suspend someone indefinitely for a public intox charge. Those types of suspensions only come with the more serious charges. You won't know Bernstine's suspension(or lack of) until this goes through the courts.

I wouldn't care if he was 2 days shy of his 21st birthday, I'm with others and I think he should have gotten 2 games.
