Halftime! I was uneasy about playing another SEC team in a bowl and this ain't helping Didn't Mississippi State beat Auburn?
SEC still has faster better athletes especially in Defensive line and Linebackers. At least that's true when it comes to Auburn and Purdue

My thoughts on this game. Delaney should lose his job for this match-up (if he had anything to do with it). He should lose it for continued participation in the Pinstripe Bowl without the Yankees doing something to improve the field conditions.

David Bell is nuts if he is still considering Purdue.

Finally, how in the f*** did we lose to Purdue.

We lost to Purdue because we really aren't that good, nor are our coaches. Brohm completely outcoached us that day, which isn't exactly unheard of. The SEC is far superior in talent and speed than the B1G.

Looked at a Purdue message board. Surprised their fans seemed to be owning it and admitting weaknesses on O and D lines. No blaming refs.

I'm going on record right now that Mississippi State will not score 63 points against us. Nice bowl game Purdue...when a 7-5 team lights you up to 63...you may have been reading your press clippings on the lead up to the game.

We should have named the score on the Boilers, the misses by our QB were brutal. Brian actually called some good plays but Stanley was playing like he was concussed.

The record shows that Stanley was 21-32 for 275 and no picks. We scored 36. Stanley had brutal misses in other losses but played more than good enough to win that day. Our secondary got gouged repeatedly and our defense couldn't get off the field on a critical 4th and 2. We gave up 38. That's why we lost.
