Iowa out of Coaches Poll, ISU Up to #19

This season has turned into a boiling cauldron of puss diarrhea, but I'm still glad we're not ISU.

A couple of observations.
Look at the teams and their records from #11 on down. Should it be so difficult for us to be a perennial Top 25 team at least?? We have only accomplished this 3 times in last 13 years or so. This is the definition of mediocrity and irrelevance IMO. But hey with 2 more victories this year we MIGHT JUST SQUEAK IN THERE at the end of the year. You boobs keep predicting 10 -2 seasons though if that makes you feel good. (A threshold that has only been reached twice in the past 14 seasons).
The leader in the B1G West and potential champion is unranked and receiving just one vote. Wow that sez alot about the strength of the conference this year.

If ISU wins out, they are in the Big 12 title game, but they have to win at Texas

That isn't correct. WVU would have to drop another conference game. Oklahoma would have to lose twice since they beat ISU head-to-head. ISU does not control its own destiny at this point.

I don't care if I'm right or wrong, I just don't want to see the Ames High Suck Clones playing for a conference title game!
Does the Big 12 have a championship game if Oklahoma wins outright? ISU already has two losses and Oklahoma one.

If Iowa is ranked 9th that poll isn’t worth jack shit! The only reason you guys ever bring it up is because we are rarely in the polls that matter. When we are it is short lived.
Ok boss. I’d argue the only reason it bothers you is because it doesn’t fit your agenda. It’s a computer algorithm, not biased.

What agenda does it fit for you is the better question? We are the 8th best team in the B1G and one loss away from being tied with Illinois in the West. If you think seeing Iowa at 9th in a meaningless poll somehow makes that story look better more power to you. We are shitty and won’t be any better next year. But hey we are 9th in the Sagarin.
