Love me some TATANKA. Time to fire the coach...best part is the dilussional fan base. All I heard was "we are back" then they play an old rival and lose... Karma's a bitch lil Debbie.
How many coaches have followed up a 13-0 season with a 0-11 one? I’m gonna guess none. They may need to reevaluate where they are as a program. They better hope their starting QB has no damage to that knee as it could get ugly real quick.
Omaha Weird Herald saying Doctor's will make final determination tomorrow. That is not a good sign, I think he blew the ACL. After trainer talked to him on field he took his helmet off and just sat there...not good. They may need to reevaluate where they are as a program. I'm thinking the same thing.Omaha Weird Herald saying Doctor's will make final determination tomorrow. That is not a good sign, I think he blew the ACL. After trainer talked to him on field he took his helmet off and just sat there...not good.
Yeah, that did not look good. Best case scenario for him might be an MCL or bad sprain.I'm thinking the same thing.
Was #44 for Colorado working over his knee after the play was blown dead? What the heck was he doing?
Yes he was. That was dirty but it happens about 80% of the time. Was #44 for Colorado working over his knee after the play was blown dead? What the heck was he doing?
They may think they have their swag back but their defense isn't. And they had Colorado off the field and were ready to ice the game but not for a stupid penalty by one of their defenders who no doubt thought he needed to make a "We Are Back" statement."We simply beat ourselves"
"Just nice to see we got swagger back"
They are improved, the dline is better, and they have some athletes....and that qb was solid. Buttttt... They better hope the QB isn't seriously hurt, cause Frosts offense is all predicated on a true dual threat qb. He had a Heisman QB in Oregon and a Stud at CFU. They won by simply outscoring teams, not with defense .
They are still delusional here, and I am loving it....
Go Hawks...
F nebby.
Yup. They knew their chances of winning were a heck of a lot better if they were to knock him out. So they did and it was. You play that style and ask your QB to get popped a lot and your odds are just pretty high he's going to get dinged up. Just a matter of how bad.Yes he was. Not that I'm a NEB fan and offer any real advice for them but yeah that could be the way to go. But they just literally don't have another QB on scholarship on the roster now so if your going to do that and RS Martinez your literally throwing away the season... That's a lot to ask of the upper classman. No coach this early on in a season would do such a thing making it so obvious as to what their doing. Now that said how bad the kid is hurt will play into it he may be out awhile and the decision is out of his hands...Well if Colorado beat him up, just imagine what Iowa or Wisconsin is going to do to him. Frost needs to think ahead and only play that kid in 3 more games. Preferably against the weakest games on their schedule. Then bank the year of eligibility and work on bulking the kid up some. You play that poor kid against a B1G defensive juggernaut this year his career might literally end.
Save your QB. Swallow your pride. Take the bad season and build for year 2. I saw some good things from Nebraska. They played with the kind of intensity that we haven't seen since Pelini. They are about 10 bodies of depth and another year of strength conditioning away from actual competition. I will say though that once they get a QB that can last a season look out. That offense is going to give the B1G some fits. I was amazed how fast he was able to get them playing with such good timing.
That offense is dangerous for a QB, no doubt. Higher rate of injury due to the number of hits they take.Yup.
