Looking like another year of reaching deeper into the cookie jar to fill WR needs for this upcoming class. Haven't seen many candidate names other than a few with MAC type offers. Polasek and Foster seem to be making more of a mark since their hires than Copeland.

If ever there was a year to come out and just sling it, this might be the one. Accomplished QB, one of the most dangerous TEs in the country, an OL that might pass block better than run block, inexperienced RBs (who just happen to be good out of the backfield), and a crucial need to prove to receiving recruits that Iowa can be an exciting place to play. Bell could be a total game changer.

Yeah they need to get it done.
What is amazing is, I posted in another thread a link and it shows we have 2 wr in the NFL, Wisconsin has 2 and Nebraska with their goofy schemes (they were pretty pass oriented) only has 3. Yet somehow they out recruit us at wr.
That doesn't even make sense.

Well Iowa is still in on Bell who would be their best WR recruit in ages. Hopefully we can land him.

Counting on Bell as an Iowa commit would not be where I would be placing a large amount of money.......but yeah, we can hope. The question, more so, is why aren't we capable of bringing some decent additional candidates to the surface.
