It’s good that they have him secure. They have a young lineup that is poised to be a championship team for years to come. They are well coached for sure.

I have faith in Tom & Terry. Wrestling is a different beast than when Gable coached. Part of the problem is that Gable got all the best wrestlers from North & South Dakota, Wyoming & Montana. Now, South Dakota States Wrestling program has cranked it up, they are in the top 10 and getting those great HS wrestlers.

And The HWC is in need of serious donation $$$. Brands is asking Barta for a new wrestling facility in which they badly need. Get that approved HWC with Perry as coach and he will fundraiser like a mutha. Get the funds up over a few million and 2020-21 should be a top 1-2 recruiting class again. Let’s go Barta. Spend some money wisely for once....

Sanderson. He’d be ballin’ as far as wrestling standards.
Not sure honestly. I don’t know the sport well enough anymore to say who’s even on a Brands/Sanderson level. Maybe tOSU’s coach? He’s a former Hawkeye, right?

Thing is, we'd have to sell our souls twice over just to get him to consider it.
Part of the problem is all of Gable's teachings have been spread across the country through his former coaches and wrestlers, making the sport as a whole much more competitive.
