Most junior high kids can't remember the last time Iowa was relevant in wrestling.
 


All of those pedophile scumbags not even be allowed to have an athletic program after what they did. Iowa is a great program that helps children including building hospitals to help them. It’s just not right that a program like pedo state should get away with abusing them.

Former Pedo State athletic director Tim Curley and former Pedo State president Graham Spanier was found guilty endangering the welfare of a child. They both had athority and involvement in all Pedo State Athletics. So the corruption has never been isolated to the football program. All Pedo State athletic teams should be suspended due to the involvement of their president and athletic director.
 


Even though this world cruel and unjust there were still some good wins tonight. Lee got a pin, Kemerer won a major decision, and as I mentioned Alex Marinelli had a win over a #1 ranked wrestler. That's 2 freshman and one sophomore. Iowa has a very strong program going forward, and is solidly one of the top few programs in the country.

I agree. You have to really like some of our young studs, and we will have Murin, Lugo and Warner next year.

That said, we may be one of the top few, but we remain light years from PSU (and OSU, at least the last couple of seasons).

Some of the wrestlers that we are sending out on the mat are downright embarrassing, and have no business starting for this program. I just don't get it. It's almost like the staff hits on an occasional talented recruit then shits the bed with everyone else. The gap in talent in this roster is mind boggling. No consistency at all.

Glynn, Laux, Stickley, Bowman, Gunther and Holloway? I mean, c'mon. Nothing personal, but, in this program they should be training room partners at best, or perhaps starting for Wartburg.
