Their quarterback makes Joe Dirt look like George Clooney and yet they think we're the rednecks.

Allen Lazard talked a ton of shit for a guy who only beat Iowa once in his 4 year career. Also in his senior year he had 6 catches for 24 yards on 14 targets. Hilarious

I was one of those people that defended his choice to go to ISU,.........he started running his mouth and now I am on the "he could have went to ND/Stanford" side.

Wowza. Is Jacob Park from the south? Sounds like he came from the bowels of Louisiana. He was complimentary of Iowa, IMO.

We all know we'd take Lazard on our team. Some need to be man enough to admit it!!

This is what I came to post. After decoding what Park said, I appreciated what he said. Lizard, on the other hand, continues to be called "The Great Cyclone", model citizen, mature adult, etc. and then he comes on with all of the excuses, can't give Iowa any credit, and just comes off like a immature little baby.

That's what I can't understand about Clones and their fans. When you lose to someone, give them credit, it makes you and your team sound better. Instead, all I hear from Clones is, "Iowa sucks, their QB sucks, their RB's aren't as good as ours, their defense is terrible, etc." and my only response is "You may be right. Iowa may suck, but you lost to them at home, so what does that say about your team?"
 


Park is the model southern redneck dude and I think he plays it up a lot. Honestly I love it just for the hilarity factor.
 


Let's not feed the ISU little brother syndrome by acting like we are the bully big brother. We did what we went there to do. Let them wallow if they want at this point it's on to PSU as I look past North Texas ;)
 


These interviews were hilarious, wife and I were watching the news and Lazard came on and said "we played our balls off"... I had the wife rewind it and said did he just say "balls"? Sure enough he did and we had a good laugh about it. But then...on comes Park with a big wad of chew in his mouth and we had a good laugh about that too. Really funny back to back interviews to represent the school.
That said, I would think Campbell would have some standards to tell them about? Have a little talk with Park about the dip and how bad it looks. Also, why were they being interviewed still padded up etc.? If I'm a coach I let them shower and cool down a little before giving statements, too easy to look dumb when still in pads and "game mode".
I was glad all the Iowa players were showered and had a nice polo shirt on in their post game interviews, just a lot classier look.
 


Maybe I missed it, but Park didn't sound much different than a 1000 other college kids interviewed, yes, including our Hawkeyes.
 


Is this the kid that the guys at CyFan were claiming had an Alabama offer at one point? Or was that another quarterback?
