Live stream for today's game (I think)

Fantastic, thanks

Connor looking very good, Nunge too

23 all at the end of 1 qtr, Hawks first line had big lead

Moss with 11, Garza with 10, Cook with 8 and Baer with 5 points at halftime. Hawks up 48-44.

Iowa up by 19 after 3, Ellingson a complete turnaround in the 2nd half, can't miss now, Baer is Baer again, Nunge and Garza continue to impress

Well, hell- i went to lunch and didn't know I would be able to watch . I really hope they do them for the rest, but I bet it's dicey since they are moving venues and such. In fact, I bet the school didn't even know they would be streamed until they showed up today.

Didn't take long to see some horrible calls/missed calls. I guess officiating is the same over there lol.

yeah... it was called really loosely... we all need to take it with a big ole grain of salt. Still like seeing the guys in action against something more than just the PTL

I've only watched the first half so far and I know it's not a good idea to base any assumptions off of this Europe thing, but the 3pt D seems to be still an issue. Garza does appear to be able to box out though, that'll be nice. Does Nunge get better shooting from 3 in the second half?

No, not really. Although he does have a nice dunk after doing some cherry picking. :)

Ok, I'll be very surprised if Uhl gets more than 15 minutes a game.

I think the good thing about Wagner and Uhl both is that they can push the starters, the younger guys. If Cook/Pemsl/Garza/Kriener/Nunge aren't playing tough D, and an opponent like lets say a Haap is killing them, Fran can sit them on the bench. It can send a message and be a change of pace putting in Wagner and Uhl who both play good D.

It's also nice for practice to have your 1's go against guys who have their kind of experience. This deep of a roster is not a bad thing. I will admit that I too hope that other guys get minutes over Wagner and Uhl, when they are ready. Garza and Nunge are going to play this year, but what a luxury that Fran can bring them along at whatever pace is needed until they are going to be in the best position to succeed. Both the Frosh shot it pretty bad from 3 yesterday. What I don't get about Dom is... why can't he focus on being a ball handler and distributor and on his D and that be his specialty? He doesn't need to take more than a couple shots a game to be effective IMO. Same with Wagner, they can impact it from somewhere else besides being productive with offensive points. We have plenty of guys that can handle that. I think they both have a roll. How big still to be determined.
