Front Court Rotation

I like having a dead eye 3PT shooter bringing the ball up the court. If JoBo has truly added a floater to his game he will be an extremely hard player to guard.

Back to the OP. The problem with Cook getting 30 MPG is that he isn't a great defender. He is also a terrible FT shooter which means he cant be in the game late if we are ahead. Hopefully we can improve our overall interior defense and FT shooting this year because those were our biggest weaknesses last season. If i remember right the Hawks were basically a 50% FT shooting team when you took away JoBo and Jok's numbers.

It may have been closer to 60%. Still terrible though.

He struggled with positioning defensively last year, as many freshman do. I think with a year of experience he will be much improved defensively. He certainly has the size, strength, and athleticism to defend.

I also think he was asked to defend our opponents true bigs far too often last year. I remember he started on Happ at UW and got in some foul trouble. With Garza and Kriener potential coming on, he will be asked to do less of this, which will help him play to his strengths defensively.

His free throw stroke is fine and I expect it will improve some into the mid 60s, hopefully 70s this year.

He's an all B1G type talent IMO, and the star of this team. That's why I think he should play 30+ MPG.
