Not sure what to make of that comment. Going back to Lute I would t say that Iowa has NEVER been the same?? Mr. Davis's first year with Raveling recruits was probably the best Iowa team I have seen play since Ronnie Lester's senior year and that was the last time Iowa made it to a final four.

Jury is still out on Fran (as far as being as successful as Lute) It appears the program is on an upward trajectory. Better that Lickliter and Alford's tenure. Fran really needs to make hay this year and/or next year or else he is going to come off as a mid-major level coach (meaning he can't compete and win a major conference title).................IMHO.
