Jeslord Boateng picked up an Iowa offer this week. Growing up in the Big Ten, the Michigan linebacker knows about the Hawkeyes. He told HN he's ready to learn more:

Looks like he's got long arms and uses them well to keep blockers off his body. Shows really good speed and athleticism. Could probably cover TE's. I'd be more than happy with hauling in Doyle, Hart Jr and Boateng.

6'2 220 with a 4.57 and 37" vert. As a HS junior. Yet he is a 3 star. What am I missing here?

Two things imo. Rob's article didn't mention if he attended any of the big camps and no offers from the biggies yet. I'd take him.
