Basketball is a strange and unpredictable game. BYU upsets the previously undefeated and number one team in the country. Then last night they lose in their first round game in the NIT to Texas Arlington 105-89 on BYU's home court. Great defense by BYU giving up 62 points in the first half.
I was thinking we might be meeting up with them further down the line but so much for that.
What's with Minnesota also? Some have said the B1G is down this year and I am beginning to see strong evidence that, that may be true. We didn't look to hot ourselves against South Dakota until we got the seven minute mark left in the game. Then it appeared we finally shook off the NIT blues and started to play like we are capable of.
On we go to round two.
