Did we not learn from the 10 year deal given KF which I still think was a huge mistake? I am not believing this....WAY, WAY, WAY too soon for this to be happening!!!

I know, why give the Athletic Director an extension with as poor of a year as the 2 biggest revenue generating sports have had.

Barta laughing all the way to the bank. 2015 buries the mediocrity of the recent past. Puts a nice coating of 12-0 regular season with a forgetable trip to the Rose Bowl on the promise of another "high expectation" season. Then back to the law of averages.

Not to mention that a 5 year deal with a buy out clause is a lot different than a 10 year with a crazy buy out clause.

3-4 teams ranked in the top 5-10 in the country has a lot of pull.

A business guy. It's a revenue business for AD's, and business has been good, even if w/l records are avg.

I don't care about Barta, either way. It's just funny people not understanding what an AD's primary job is in this day and age.

But yeah, I'm in sales, so also short attention span.

Again, a 5 year extension with a buy out is nothing, it's irrelevant. But people love to complain about things they know nothing about....that's message boards.
