I'm no analyst or coach ... but this game is basically a suck fest.
I was hoping ISU would get the achievement out of their system before next week -- but I haven't seen it so far.
UNI just looks bad. Of course, Illinois State looked bad as well. So maybe I just don't know things.

Iowa always has a rough time with Isu. They come out looking like the 85 bears each time we play them. Doesnt help that kirk for the past 15 years had his players treat it as "just another game" bs. Hope we get some new Kirk this week and he treats it like a real rivalry game.

Not surprised. Listening to Farley and Rima being interviewed a couple different times, you could tell this wasn't going to be one of the good UNI teams.
We all know how good David Johnson was so that was a huge loss and they couldn't figure out who to start at QB. Their o line coach left to take the head Ankeny job so just a lot of things changing and unknowns for the Panthers this year.
