No Offense but how in the F*** would/should this be a tough decision? My god what does it take to get rid of this skid mark???

It is a tough decision because of the very large buyout amount (I think it would be in excess of $7 million). I'm hoping for 8-4 or 9-3, but there is a difference between a "hope" and a prediction. I'm rooting for Ferentz to have a great season, I just don't see it with that patchwork offensive line. I sincerely hope I'm wrong....Ferentz has proved many people wrong in the past when he has bounced back from poor seasons to have very good or great ones.

This "skid mark" has won 2 Big 10 titles, won a BCS-level bowl game for the first time since the '50's, won the first 9 games of the season in 2009 which was a school record, and has put more players into the NFL than just about all but a handful of programs.
Yes, the last 5 years have sucked....big time......and that's on the coaches. But good God, the hatred is just something I don't get.

I agree 100% - if we can handle a very good Illinois State team (which would finish middle of the pack in the Big Ten) then hope increases for 7-5 or better....
