From experience I can say this is for the better. I watched about 15 minutes of the Maryland game live and haven't seen a second of live Iowa football since and my Saturdays are a lot more enjoyable because of it.
I wanted KF gone at the end of the year. Now I want him gone tonight. It is obvious the team has quit on him. There is no hope, It's over.

You enjoyed not watching Iowa put the beatdown on NW?
Yes, I had a great day outside & away from TVs. Was able to watch some football in the late afternoon and evening which was enough for me.

Yeah, watching iowa finish at .500 in the big ten, lose to Purdue in the first round of the big ten tournament and then lose to seton hall in the second round of the NIT sounds so much more fun than the current football misery. A marble-less team looks scary.

As fans, it's hard to see games like today. As soon as we were behind 21-7 I think many of us had thoughts how this game would turn out. As a lifetime Hawk, I will always watch them. The unfortunate part for me is that apathy has set in. For 35 years I have witnessed the many ups and downs... Today's game... Well... It does make me question the state of the program. A divided fan base is normally the beginning to the end for the coach. I love all that Kirk represents... But it simply may be time to make that change.
