New Michigan Coach

Welp, then we'd have to see if we could pry Mangino away from the Clowns after Mack steals back his/our OC.

In the interest of the rivalry with OSU, Michigan hiring Tressel would be kinda fun. I wonder if that guy will coach again? I believe his "show-case" penalty is until the end of 2016 so teams really don't have a choice until then. He would be suspended for a few games if anyone hires him before that period is up.

I was thinking Pa Rwoads. At least if he's at Michigan he wouldn't have the whole conference plotting against him. Instead he'd have the officials in his back pocket, with the pick to his air guitar.

Tressel would turn the program back into a national power. That would be an incredible choice.

I doubt JT would do it, but imagine how great that rivalry would become if he did. Tressel ball at Michigan. Crazy. I think my mind just exploded.

Tressel.....ha!

Same reaction here.

It would be an unbelievable move.

There are reports that the San Francisco 49ers have said that even if he wins the Superbowl, Harbaugh will not be back. So he very well could be available, he is successful, and he attended Michigan. Just putting dots together. I've been wrong about UM before. I thought Les Miles would go back, but the SEC is pretty hard to pull anyone away from.

My understanding is that he doesn't have the best relationship with Michigan. Upset at how players are treated after graduation--i.e., they are utilized by the fans, donors, and university on Saturdays, but are not offered jobs after graduation.

Obviously, that doesn't mean that he won't be the next coach, however.

Jim Harbaugh will be the next head coach of Michigan.

Jim Harbaugh is setting himself up for the split with the 49ers. The guy has won big where ever he has been. That plus NFL player and coaching experience makes him shine in the light of recruits heads.

He would be in total control at Michigan and now he is butting heads with the 49 GM.

Just seems like a perfect setup.

Personally , I would think Les Miles time is up at LSU and the getting out time is now for him. He could have a plum job and resurrect Michigan.
