All you have to do is go back to Taylor Lewan ripping off the Tim Tebow speech after the close win against Akron to know this program is living in a dream world. Throw in Devon Gardner wearing Heisman Trophy winner and Michigan great Tom Harmon's number 98 and you have a program that's truly delusional. That legends program of allowing current players to wear retired numbers needs to be retired...another great idea from their AD.

Maybe they can get the head cheerleader to wear Anthony Carter's number 1 and the water boy to wear Charles Woodson's number 2. They are both closer to the field than Gardner at this point.

They still have the attitude of Michigan...they just have no ability to back it up with toughness. It's a sad day for "Michigan Men" when a one dimensional Minnesota team comes in and hammers you in the Big House.
 


I agree. They need about 10 years of no-nonsense. Get the fundamentals right, the talent is there.

All this stuff that they throw back to do not cause success. They were outcomes of success.

I'm also reminded of Nebraska's lame practice of wearing 'black shirts'.

That is pretty funny.
 






They were given the number 5 spot in E$PN's bottom 10 this week and just gave up an 80 yard td to Rutgers.
 










I like this better, Michigan should extend Hoke's contract for at least 7 years, and also pay him a lot of money!
 


One of the better days I can remember in a long time. Wisky, Nebby, Clowns, and Meatchicken all lose. Plus all the media anointed playoff teams like Oregon, Alabama, A&M and Oklahoma all losing.

And to top it all off, the head clown himself....the one who managed to get himself kicked out of a HIGH SCHOOL game....cries wolf again and gets himself laughed at by the national media.

Yet ,those Clowns managed to win at Historic Kinnick stadium again. KF got some spainin to do. But we know he never will.

And our response to that loss was to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and win our next two games on the road. Their response to their "big" win was to go out and lose their next two games by a combined 38 points and proceed to blame the officiating for losing by 17 points.

That's why we're Iowa and they're ISU.
