WTF???? How much practice does it take to run a go route up the sideline or hashmarks.. Incredible. Willies already has a great catch on a bomb where he was open by 5-10 yards. Give me a break.

Lazard would be buried on the bench too if he had chosen Iowa. Paging Jay Scheel..You'll not see the field here either as long as Vandeberg has eligibility. I can't wait for Weisman and Buluck to use up their eligibility to. Then Capt won't be able to play them.

You may be on to something there haha.... But what I don't understand and correct me if I'm wrong didn't Vandeberg get the only 2 deep (relatively speaking) ball attempts of the game? He's like the 5th or 6th receiver on this roster I'd use for that. I'd include Kittles and Duzey over him too. He's not that big or even that good. He hasn't done bad at returning kicks but I dunno. Maybe Ferentz is nostalgic and he reminds him of Eddie Hinkel...

Its players like Ed Hinkle that saved KFs @ss. All he did was catch everything that was thrown toward him. He has some of the most spectaclar catches ever made by an Iowa receiver. Those were the days when KF was at his best. Long gone.

Probably the first time I've heard a guy with 9 games left in his career be called a work in progress. Hopefully we make a bowl game this year so he has more time to learn the deep route he used in his first game as a hawk.
