Kinnick Seating Question

I have the opportunity for tickets in section 135 row 0 this weekend.

I have sat in the end zone before, but never that low.

Any experiences??

I sat in that section and row, and now consider it the worst seat in the house. Tough to see and ended up watching the game on the scoreboard for most of the game. Would still do it, though. Awesome when the game's played on your end. Still get the kinnick experience. Of course, maybe I'm soured by the fact that Iowa almost got shut out by NW that day (lost 21-7). Would still do it again in a heartbeat, just not great seats IMO.

Alright, thanks.

I may opt for the ones 40 rows up, in the same section

We are close to that section (136), 15 rows up. Guessing a little better view that being in the front row. On the plus side, you will be able to get up close and personal with the spirit squad.

I take row zero. It's the walkway, so you'll have people walking in front of you, but you'll have ample legroom. In the north end zone that is a huge premium!

I had front row seats in the north endzone for the 1995 game vs New Mexico State. It Was one of the best game experiences I ever had. For me I found it easy to see the plays develop. Also a few Iowa Touchdowns were scored right in front of me!

The other time I had a seat close was bad. It was the 4th row on one of the west stands in the corner near the goal line. That angle was bad, I wanted to move up 20 rows when I got a crick in my neck.

Closest I've ever sat in the endzones is row 5 for Michigan 2003. Watching Robert Gallery moving defenders at will and the o-line open up great holes as the offense approached was truly a thing of beauty. When the game is on your end it is absolutely amazing. It is terrible when the action is on the other end, though.

I've been in row 1,2, or 5 in the last few years South end. When the play is at the 50 or further away, I am watching on the north endzone screens. But it's great when they are right in front of you.

I always say there isn't a bad seat in Kinnick, but the end zones aren't great. You're still there though

Sat in row 5 of the end zone for a while at Iowa's game at Purdue last fall. HATED IT. Couldn't see much once the play was on the 50 or beyond.
