Official F Dickinson vs. Hawks game thread

Did you see that guy throw a shoulder into McCabe as he headed to the FT line and McCabe just looked at him like "really you chitin me"

And Woody isn't? I think theyare pretty even offensively. Just Gabe is much further ahead of him in defense.

Woody is better on defense. Gabe is better at offensive rebounding and a better shooter, Woody a better passer. But my comment didn't have anything to do with Woody.

I don't either, how the hell did Rutgers and Seton Hall lose to his team?

No he isn't, take away his blocks and what does he do?

Not allow uncontested layups against the likes of fairleigh dickinson? Hits free throws. Maintains his balance after rebounds. Can jump. Stays in good position on d.

Adam has been playing pretty good last couple of weeks. And I'm excited to see him his junior senior years. I just think Gabe is better today.

I guess Gabe is always in position,,,my bad

The headline here is that Farleigh Dickinson, a small East Coast school, managed to hold No. 22 Iowa under 50 points in a half and its leading scorer scoreless ... and on his very own bobble head night.

McCabe either seems like a complete doucher, or the guy you would love to party with.
If you listen to the Hawkeye Huddle podcast from last week, one of the guys said that McCabe is a total jerk to refs. One of the host has a friend who does summer league games and said McCabe is awful on the the court to the refs. Fine off the court, but different on.

There's a LOT more to defense than blocking shots, and that is the only area where Gabe is better than Woody.

How do we lose that red-headed wood elf every trip down the floor?

(But seriously, would love to have a three-point gunner like that. But I guess we have Josh...)
