Upset Alert in Madison

If MSU wins the B1G championship game the Outback is still in play. Ohio St is gold to any BCS game. They'll go as long as they're in the top 14.

If OSU gets into the BCS NT game, would the next in line "B1G representative" for the Rose Bowl (MSU) get in, even if their BCS ranking is too low?

This is an interesting afternoon of football. Auburn returns a missed field goal attempt for a TD with no time on the clock and Baylor escapes on a deflected pass with 11 seconds to go. So it isn't just a weird weekend for the Big Ten.

I believe you have to be top 14 in the BCS rankings to be eligible. So if MSU loses next Saturday and only falls a few spots the Rose Bowl could still pick MSU.

But there are a lot of BCS rules, who knows.

Honestly, a few weeks ago, I felt that Sparty could beat Brutus.
Of course, both MSU and OSU had less then impressive wins.

If Bowling Green somehow beats Northern Illinois, Outback is still in play.
If MSU is still Top 14 after the B1G championship game, I'm sure the Rose would LOVE another Big Ten team. (Remember Illinois after the 2008 season).

It's either Outback or Phoenix, for us. Don't see the Gator, at all.
