First game of the year is right around the corner! I'm stoked. I'm sure these prediction threads won't be as popular as the football variety, but let's give at least this one a go.

Iowa wins a sloppy heavily foul prone game 84 - 58

White as the high scorer, with half of his points (at least) coming from the FT line.

Everyone gets minutes, and the trolls start threads about how bad the season is going to go.

The 3's drop at a nice 44% clip (11 of 25), and we get 15+ minutes of Jok and Uthoff. Woodbury impresses with a double double, and White and Marble each pour in at least 20. Hawks win easily 88-56.

UNC-Wilmington crushed their exhbition-game competition, beating Belmont Abbey, 101-51 and Methodist, 92-51. Iowa only beat Augustana by 22. Iowa better not have an off night or take UNCW lightly. Coached by former Tennessee coach, Buzz Peterson, and are a veteran group. Iowa has lost to teams like this before.
