Kind of ridiculous but that's okay more motivation for us
And soon the rest of the country will get a taste.

The reason people are upset is because there are teams ahead of Iowa that Iowa either beat or played close that lost significant players while Iowa lost 1 role player and return ~90% of the playing time/scoring.i'd love to hear why you're taking offense to a PREseason ranking. getting 2nd in the NIT hasn't really proven anything. i think anywhere from 23-30 is about right. this team will have plenty of opportunities to move up the rankings

I think if, 1 year ago, you asked most people whether or not they would have been happy with 29th, most would say yes. But the expectations have been raised.
I, for one, am happy with 29th. It gives room to grow and gives the players a chip on their shoulder.
GO HAWKS!!!
well I personally think we are better than 29th - and anyone really with a clue knows this.
If you want to base things off last year only that's pretty silly (hence why Kentucky is #1 - not just basing things off last year)
Anyways you will see soon.
Where do you think we should be ranked?

I think around 20th. But hosestly if we were a bigger name program in this position we would probably be between 10th and 15th.
