BTN has Iowa at #5 this week in B1G

It was said a week or two ago that Iowa received very little or no love on their shows. It was also said that if they started playing better they would. Well the fruits of their labor are spouting buds.

Both "BTN Live" with Howard Griffith and Glen Mason AND "The Pulse" with Rick Pizzo and Leman etc giving big props to our D-Line, young team and drastically improving team efforts. Mason and Griffith BOTH go so far as too having them as the #5 team in their B1G weekly rankings. [FWIW other five are OSU, MSU,Wisky, & Mich]

Nice to be seeing some media recognition (even just BTN), as that does indicate we may be improving and their belief that we are a becoming a weekly factor. **Relevance**

Even w/ perfection from here on it is a long shot that the Hawks land in the B!G title game BUT Iowa certainly can play Spoiler.

UW isn't going to Indy unless tOSU looses twice and Purdue isn't going anywhere. On the other hand the Wolverines and the Huskers have lots to loose. UM can get to Indy by throttling Sparty and winning out and would get to play the Buckeyes in back to back games. Nebby saves face and what will look like a pretty successful season in the record books.

Hawkeye wins against these two most likely result in one coach leaving and another coach getting to sit on the hot seat.
