The 2 home games against NW and Wisky will define this season

The kinnick fans need to bring it against nw. If we can get kinnick rocking we can influence this game.

That will only make them feel at home. Maybe we should cheer wildly for them. Talk about playing in an unfamiliar environment...

#1 because i dont play to lose. #1 question for u. How many jobs have you taken for less money? #2 i read about einstein and hawkins and their theories. #2 for you. What do you read?

Answer #1

One, but I eventually made more.

Answer #2

Hustler, Playboy, and Cyclonefanatic. Mensa is begging me to join, but I'll never divulge my secrets of absorbing knowledge through reading...crap I just did.

Wisconsin & Ohio St have run it very well against Northwestern. Now you're talking about the best 2 OLs and RBs in the conference there but Iowa has a solid OL and RBs so I think they may be able run on the Wildcats.

I was very unconfident about this game awhile back but feeling a little better no. They had high expectations going into the season and losing like the have the last 2 weeks, takes its toll. It will be interesting to see if Fitz can keep them dialed in with the division title hopes on life support. Also obviously helps that Colter and Mark are beat up right now. Wouldn't mind that staying that way for another week.

There is so much I disagree with in this thread. Nothing has changed except Hawk fan hoping, that is all. Sadly Iowa just not a very good football team and program right now. I just don't see a 6th win and boy would it be nice to be wrong.

Defensively Iowa is in for a very long, 6 weeks against the best the Big Ten has to offer. Aside from MSU and we saw how that went. I see a victory against Purdue, but even that isn't a sure bet.

Very fair comments. I do think that Iowa is better than last year and NW is really banged up (and we get them at home). Wisconsin REALLY likes to run the ball and we can defend the run. I think we win one of those two games

I would disagree with you, and suggest that 2012 (and perhaps MSU two wks ago) has forced you into a more pessimistic outlook. Of course, I don't know you-so I'm just going off your posts. (I'm not attempting to slight you here)

I have hope for the season yet, and think the team has shown many positives thus far this season.
