Single Game Tickets on Sale to General Public October 16

The student section needs to step up big time. Still think biggest mistake Barta made with the renovation was not putting the students around the court.

I graduated from Iowa in 2012 and went to all the basketball games. I'm all for getting the students more involved and closer to the court, but they should not be put around the court until they show that they can show up consistently. Hopefully this is the year that the students get interested in basketball and go to the games.

Don't believe what the ticket office says. Not 1 game is "sold out" yet. (I'm not talking about scattered singles).

There are still blocks of seats available to every game, just not released. They are holding seats back for potential season ticket holders. Also, just like football, seats to every game will randomly appear on the website without anyone knowing they were released.
Before you drop $100 on Stubhub, just check the ticketing website every day (not so much now, more so when the season starts)

Don't they also hold a block of tickets for the visiting team?? And if the visiting team doesn't us all of them are they opened up for the public? Just curious .. ..

GO HAWKS!!!

I don't think the visiting team gets an allotment for basketball tickets. They get the folding chair seats directly behind their team bench for players family, but those are never made available to the public.

I had season ticket as a student during almost all of the Lickliter era. I deserve something for that too.

Curious, did the seats come with pillows or did you have to bring your own? Carver was a great place to take a nap back then.

Oh btw, funny tidbit when I finally got through to the ticket office yesterday the gal asked if I was an alum. She actually chuckled when I said, "nope, just a tavernhok fan". Must be catching on.

Would it make a difference? Im an alum and would like special treatment please...

Dad got 2 tickets to the MSU game, pretty high up.

Went to Iowa last year, now at ISU. I just tell people it's because I get to go to the Iowa football/basketball games. Anyway, you know where I'll be for the ISU game(student section) repping the black n' gold. GO HAWKS!

Maybe I'll transfer back to Iowa next year ;)

I don't know, perhaps you would have been able to order more tickets than me. I was limited to ordering 4 per game, so I had to create a 2nd account to get 2 more (which she told me to do).
