Somebody's gotta beat 'em might as well be iowa

If it was at Kinnick then I would say there is a chance. KF doesn't beat better teams on the road.

That should be the mantra for Iowa the next three games. No one expects you to win. So leave it all on the field. There is nothing to lose. Winning any one of the next three games is an upset for Iowa. Be the spoiler Iowa!

KF doesn't understand the meaning of "nothing to lose". Explain it to him....please.

We went for broke the last time in the shoe, except for, perhaps the last posession in regulation. Iowa came out passing that day with a green QB and accepted the turnover risk and almost pulled it off. That said, this is not that Iowa team.

I'm hoping for no injuries. Just give that and I'm ok. Not expecting a close game just don't want any injuries.

We have a lot to lose. We're not some Div3 team were the University of Iowa. This is a conference game that we need.

Except for kneeling on the ball with 1:40 left in regulation, to play for and lose in OT. A disgusting lack of confidence in an offense that had moved the ball fairly well up to that point.

I expect that with the week off that they will have a set of trick plays, and schemes to exploit weaknesses that the cheaters have. I do expect that they will play well and take a lot of chances. I predict that there will be a some points off trick plays and special teams.

Like I referenced in my original post.

It's Kirt Ferentz, the foundation of his dogma is that there is always something to lose, therefore, play to avoid it.
Keep it close to the vest; no reward is worth the risk; keep pounding square pegs into round holes and hope you can execute through it.

Buck-I 44, Hawk-I 12.

Not a chance Iowa is even close in this. OSU is playing second stringers by the middle of the 3rd quarter

The only way the cheaters will have second stringers in is if the first stringers can't handle Iowa's physical play and get benched or dinged up in the second half. Iowa's power football may just wear them down.
