Why do people say Weisman only gets yards against weak competition?

The guy is a gamer no matter who we play. He'd get over a hundred yards if we played Alabama.

the only way he'd get 100 yards against Alabama is if Iowa was still running the ball in the second half, down by 7 TDs, against the third team D.

Why do you say? His size and determination would get him yards in the NFL

Do you own a mirror? Maybe contributing should be your new style.

If he stays healthy, he's gonna make good money as an NFL fullback someday.

Michael Joseph Alstott (born December 21, 1973), nicknamed "A-Train", is a former American football fullback in the National Football League. He spent his entire 12-year career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played college football at Purdue. During his career, Alstott was selected to six Pro Bowls and was the starting fullback/running back with the Buccaneers in Super Bowl XXXVII.

Weisman has proven he gets yards against all levels of competition. He just gets more against weak competition.

Well he got 100 yards against a MAC school and 145 yards against a B12 school. Can you tell us which of those schools is from a BCS conference?

That's this year. You contention is that he got his 800+ yards last year all against weak competition?

There seems to be a disconnect and I'm hearing the twilight zone theme. You're saying, that I'M claiming Weisman got all his yards against weak competition? No I'm firmly in the camp that Weisman is the real deal. Are you in that camp? Or are you in band camp?

"No I'm firmly in the camp that Weisman is the real deal. Are you in that camp? Or are you in band camp? "

He is the real deal. And I think Leshun Daniels Jr might be even better.

Unless there is something in practice I am not privy to, I would really like to see both Daniels and Canzeri get about 6-8 touches this week, I think Bullocks workload is about right. I am fine with being run heavy (especially if the oline continues to gel and we keep defenses honest with the pass), hell...I am good with 60 runs as game. Weisman has to get sub 25 carries(there was about 8-9 carries he was gassed-justifiably so). He's so much more effective when fresh.

He has 100 or more yards in every game he has played at RB without a high ankle sprain. This includes Michigan State.
