Refs called ISU out

About time the refs called out ISU for blaring music in when Iowa was lining up on offense. I wasn't there today but I distinctly remember in 2011 the same **** going on. They will do anything over there to try to get a competitive advantage.

That's great, but I would have appreciated it more if they would have started the clock as the rules require after the review of Mossad's near-TD and not granted ISU an extra 40 seconds that almost came back to bite Iowa in the @$$. You'd think an attentive coach would have noticed such a thing.

ISU is lucky they were given a warning. The refs have the right to not warn them and simply wait until after the play and call a 15-yard penalty with an automatic first down instead.

Do the refs have the right to not start the game clock after a second-down running play that ends inbounds?

"They will do anything over there to try to get a competitive advantage - says it all" I wish Iowa would care enough about that winning and competitive thing. Back in the day - the small pink locker was what teams worried needlessly about. Now they worry about when will Iowa let them back in the game ...

Don't mess with Thunder when he's trying to **** all over an Iowa win in Ames. There is a narrative that must be told, sir.

Two things: First off, the idiot F head refs should be as concerned about knowing when to run the clock as they are with Jamie Pollard's Super Special Sound Farm.

Second, you can take up my criticism of Kurt's inability to close out games with Ed Podolak. He's on the same page as me.

Is that really what teams worry about? Link? Kthx

I was at the game. The stadium design must not be a good design to contain noise. I was shocked at how quiet the place is. I was sitting upper deck maybe that was it but it seems like the music was piped in to adress the fact the place is so quiet.
They are really proud of their sound system though. It seems to be a center piece of game day and its damn annoying. The videoboard itself is smaller than I expected and nowhere near as nice as our new video board system. The video in the south end zone should just be turned off its an embarrassment to ISU. Looks like a 60 inch tv but with 1970s graphics I suspect it was built in the early 80s.

They have a ways to go to match up with the sound system antics the Gophers used to employ in the Metrodome.

As fans of most programs are that as a fanbase fail to generate much noise.

I am going to watch the game when I get back home to Atlanta, Georgia. At approximatly what point in the game did the refs address this? Thanks
