It will be Rudock . Anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid. He has been here the longest and will get the nod no matter what.
KF paraphrased, "he got the majority of the snaps at #2 but I wouldn't call it a major factor... It's not like everybody else is chasing him. The most important key is how they play over the next 20 practices." Hmm... So KF keeps saying nobody has an advantage but yet almost every journalist says Jake Rudock has the advantage based on his time in the system.

Jake the snake Christiansen was by far and away the favorite going into the year and when recruited, everyone was on board and eccstatic with this top ranked duel threat qb.....

I didn't realize JC was considered a dual threat QB. He had 99 rushing attempts for 0 yards in 2007. I guess getting back to the line of scrimmage might be considered a dual threat for us.

you should look at his high school recruiting information. he was listed as a dual threat.
You're right. It also says he ran a 4.89 40 so it's not like he was ever going to be a TMart or Braxton Miller. He was also listed at 6'0" 200 lbs which means he's no Tim Tebow either. Really makes me wonder how they rated him a 4 star dual threat QB.

Dude, it was obvious from the spring game that Sokol is the man. I mean he threw the ball down field, and he was the most effiecent. Competition over, Sokol is the guy.

All I know for sure is that this years backup QB will be the best QB on the team.....according to this board.
Don't get crazy, we should consider the high school team's record and time in the system before actual on field performances in an Iowa uniform.

The point is everyone needs to slow their role. We have no idea who has been better at this point. I think they only reason people say Rudock, is because KF favors seniority in the past.

Miller gives absolutely nothing to back this up. Ferentz has said in the last two interviews it's any of the three's job to win (at least the first start) based on evaluation on several factors. Why would he bs? This article is just stirring the pot. If Ferentz gave even the slightest clue this is true I missed it.

He's favored it pretty much his entire tenure, but the Hawk homer in me still believes he'll look past seniority in some cases such as not playing Tanner Miller. ever.
